Form Settings & Customization

Configure form behavior, success messages, redirects, and form styling options.

Success Messages & Redirects

Customize what happens after a user submits your form. You can show a success message, redirect to another page, or both.

Success Message:

  • Enter a custom message to display after successful submission (e.g., "Thank you! Your submission has been received.")
  • If no message is set, a default success message will be shown
  • The success page uses your form's branding (colors, logo, font)

Redirect After Submission:

  • Enter a Redirect URL to send users to another page after submission
  • Set a Redirect Delay (in seconds) to show the success message before redirecting
  • If both success message and redirect are set, the message will display first, then redirect after the delay

💡 Use Cases:

  • • Thank You Page: Redirect to a dedicated thank you page on your website
  • • Confirmation: Show success message, then redirect to a confirmation page
  • • Next Step: Redirect to a page with next steps or additional information

Form Style Settings

Customize the visual appearance and behavior of your form beyond branding. These settings control form layout, button behavior, and visual styling.

Style Options:

  • Header Text Color: Set the text color for the form header (default: white).
  • Submit Button Text Color: Set the text color for the submit button (default: white).
  • Corner Style: Choose between rounded corners or straight/square corners for your form container.
  • Submit Button Text: Customize the text displayed on the submit button (default: "Submit Form").
  • Hide Submit Button: Hide the default submit button if you're using custom buttons or conditional submission.
  • Remove "Powered by SyncForms": Remove the SyncForms branding from the bottom of your form (available on paid plans).

For custom Button fields, the button text color can be set in that field's settings in the right sidebar when the field is selected.

Submission Behavior

Control how users interact with your form and what happens when they submit.

Submission Options:

  • Allow Multiple Submissions: Let users submit the form multiple times. If disabled, users can only submit once (tracked by browser session).

💡 When to Use Each Option:

  • • Multiple Submissions: Enable for surveys, feedback forms, or forms where users might need to submit multiple entries
  • • Single Submission: Disable for one-time registrations, applications, or when you want to prevent duplicate entries
