Product Limits & Restrictions

Understand the limits for forms, submissions, themes, and features on each plan.

Overview

SyncForms plans have specific limits on the number of forms, submissions, and custom themes you can create. These limits help us provide reliable service while offering flexible pricing options.

Important: Limits Reset Monthly

Submission limits reset at the beginning of each calendar month. Form and theme limits are cumulative (total you can have at once).

Form Limits

Professional Plan

5 forms maximum

You can create and maintain up to 5 active forms at any time. If you reach this limit, you'll need to delete an existing form or upgrade to the Business plan to create more.

Business Plan

Unlimited forms

Create as many forms as you need. There are no restrictions on the number of forms you can create or maintain.

Submission Limits

Professional Plan

200 submissions/month per calendar month

You can receive up to 200 form submissions across all your forms each calendar month. This limit resets on the 1st of every month. If you reach this limit, new submissions will be blocked until the next month begins or you upgrade to the Business plan.

Example: If you receive 200 submissions on January 15th, you've reached your monthly limit. You'll need to wait until February 1st for the limit to reset, or upgrade to Business for unlimited submissions.

Business Plan

Unlimited submissions

Receive as many form submissions as you need. There are no monthly limits or restrictions on the number of submissions your forms can accept.

Custom Theme Limits

Professional Plan

1 custom theme maximum

You can create and maintain up to 1 custom theme. Custom themes allow you to save color schemes, fonts, and branding settings for reuse across multiple forms.

Business Plan

Unlimited custom themes

Create as many custom themes as you need. Perfect for managing multiple brands or client projects.

Email Notification Limits

Professional Plan

Form owner only

Email notifications are automatically sent to the form owner's email address only. The notification email field is read-only and cannot be changed on the Professional plan.

Business Plan

Multiple recipients

You can specify custom email addresses to receive notifications. Add multiple email addresses separated by commas to notify your entire team when forms are submitted.

File Upload Limits

QuickBase File Size Limit

75MB maximum per file

Each file uploaded through your forms can be up to 75MB in size. This limit is set to match QuickBase's maximum file attachment size. Files larger than 75MB will be rejected during upload.

Note: While QuickBase allows a 100MB limit, SyncForms enforces a limit of 75MB to ensure reliable file uploads to QuickBase.

Supported File Types:

All file types are supported. Common file types include:

  • Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX
  • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, WEBP
  • Archives: ZIP, RAR, 7Z
  • Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI
  • And many more

What Happens When You Reach a Limit?

Form Limit Reached

If you try to create a new form but have reached your plan's form limit, you'll see a message explaining the limit and options to upgrade.

  • Delete an existing form to free up space
  • Upgrade to the Business plan for unlimited forms

Submission Limit Reached

If your forms receive submissions that exceed your monthly limit, new submissions will be blocked until:

  • The next calendar month begins (limit resets on the 1st)
  • You upgrade to the Business plan for unlimited submissions

Important: When the submission limit is reached, forms will display a message at the top indicating that submissions are not currently being accepted. Form fields will be read-only to prevent users from filling out the form and then encountering an error. The form will automatically become active again when the limit resets at the beginning of the next month, or when you upgrade to the Business plan.

Theme Limit Reached

If you try to create a new custom theme but have reached your plan's theme limit, you'll need to:

  • Delete an existing theme to free up space
  • Upgrade to the Business plan for unlimited themes

Checking Your Usage

You can check your current usage at any time in your account settings:

  1. Navigate to SettingsBilling
  2. View your current usage statistics
  3. See how many forms, submissions, and themes you've used
  4. Monitor your submission count for the current month

Usage statistics update in real-time, so you'll always know how close you are to your plan limits.

Need More?

If you're consistently hitting your plan limits, consider upgrading to the Business plan for unlimited access to all features. You can upgrade at any time from your billing settings.
